All of the News...None of the Nastiness

In our first articles we asked what you wanted from our site. Many of you mentioned that you wanted a place to hear the true news of what's happening in the Scrapbooking Industry without having to visit a certain nasty blog site that has salacious gossip and angry female commenters. Well, there is one!

Scrapbook Update has truthful and well researched articles about news in the scrapping industry without here-say or malicious gossip. Nancy backs her articles with direct quotes and real facts and figures.

It's a great way to stay informed without having to return to a High School atmosphere or mentality! LOL!
So ditch that other blog and head over to Scrapbook Update as your source of information.

Thank you for the link. It's really hard hearing all the gossip when sometime those being gossiped about are close friends. I think many of the mean girls forget that. Some of those "big names" are also someones sister, aunt or best friend.

just checked out the site you recommended and it has lots of info - thanks for sharing!!! (I guess I'm in the dark regarding the *nasty blog* and the history as I have no idea what everyone's speaking of ... but I hope the things we don't agree with are things we can leave in the past so that we have room in our lives to move on to those that are bigger and better ... things that not only make us happy, but proud ... we truly don't feel better by putting others down, but by standing up on our very own)

I love Nancy's blog. I also love that other site. Sure, there's quite a bit of meanness, but once you get past that, they often discuss topics and issues that you would never see discussed anywhere else. I think personal attacks are a bad thing, but I do think that there is a place for a critical look at the industry that we all love.
