Please email your full name and mailing address to thescrapreview@hotmail.com so we can send out your prize!

Now back to the FUN...If you have looked around our site already you may have realized that here at TSR we know that you, as a consumer, are the ones who are calling the shots. This site won't work for you if we don't report on what YOU want to know about. So each day of this launch, our comments will be based on a certain theme and the products in that theme you are interested in seeing reviewed.

But first, today's prize....

Spring All Over Paper Collection from GCD Studios.
Heidi and I went into the GCD booth at the most recent CHA and were blown away by their fabulous lines. This line is particularly fun with its fresh color pallet and whimsical designs.

To be eligible to win, please:

- leave a comment on this post telling us which DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING QUESTIONS you would like answered by our talented TSR staff in the future. Wanna know what "actions" are, what program you should buy, how to get started? Let us know what is on your mind.

- comment must be posted today by MIDNIGHT PST/3:00AM EST.

Stampin' Up! is coming out with digital scrap software. Will you preview products for us?

Adobe Photoshop is a bit too pricey for some of us and I've heard it has a rather steep learning curve. Please review other more affordable and easier to use software for digiscrapping. Thanks and congrats on your new site.

I know NOTHING about digital scrapbooking and would love to learn just the basics on how I can get started.

Ashley Harris said...

Let me think, not a digi girl here at all other than my camera. I would just like to know the basics. Thanks!

I'm scared to death of digi! I have Adobe Photoshop and the best I can do with it is stitch my LOs together. I'd love to become familiar with some of the terminology just to become comfortable with using the program.

Catherine said...

I'd love to learn about a basic program - I've been cautious about jumping into the digi pool. Thanks.

Christine said...

I've taught myself Adobe but it does have a steep learning curve, how about a review on any easy reference books? Or, how to change the color of the background paper or element, I still can't figure that out.... :o)

susiebarber said...

I would love to know about good instructional books on digi, and also actions that work with PSE....

digital scrapbooking is not where I excell. I do not have a program like photoshop to work in. If I'm going to start doing a mixed page (part digi, part traditional), where do I start? What program would be the best (most economical) to get started with?

PamS said...

I would like to know what an 'action' actually is and what you do with it.

Kristin Reinhard said...

I would love to know more about photo actions for Photoshop Elements. Everywhere i look it seems to be just for the full version of Photoshop. Thanks!
(Just a note: even though I am "overseas" I do have a US shipping address :) )

I have no clue about digital scrapbbooking. So anything you review would be a big help for me. I would love to hear about the different programs.

I really want a review of Digi Scrap Education. I have Digi Scrap products and books but haven't been brave enough to do very much. It would be most awesome if there were a review of intro to DigiScrap education materials e.g. books, blogs, and a proposed "training plan for a newbie."

kathy said...

I am not very good at digital, Quite the beginer so I think a good review on easy software for beginers would be for me

Digi scares the poo outta me. Anything you review would be great for me, because the entire subject sends me into a straight panic!!

LOVE the GCD papers! How cute are they?!?!?

Scrapbookmama said...

How about Digi Scrapping for Dummies yes it would be for me I have with Adobe and got so lost I never tried again. The only program I've found easy that I can work with with scrapblog.com I would love to be able to see other different programs/sites that are that easy.

Rebecca White said...

I would like a comparison between the different program options and what is better or worse about each one. I haven't done any digi scrapping yet but I like the look.

jennie said...

Oh my, I fear digi!
I need a complete "getting started for idiots" article. What to buy, how to organize, best ways to print of have printed...etc.

This could be my only hope;)

I have dabbled in some digi scrapping, but my biggest problem is organizing all the stuff! I need to be able to browse through my kits, etc. in order to see what I have so I can make a layout - I'd love to see some talk about programs for organizing digi products/tools/kits/etc.

I don't know anything about digital scrapbooking, how do you do hybrid and print out the digital part?

Annie said...

Oh, to TSR staff...I just LOVE your site. And today's giveaway is exquisite..those colors do make me pine away for Spring.
I have done some Digi scrapping over the past year or so, but it has not hooked me in like paper scrapping does. Yet, in some ways it is so wonderful...resizing pictures, no mess :), unlimited supply of photos always ready. I would love to know if there is a product/book out there that really helps me combine the best of both paper and digi scrapping.
Thanks...can't wait to check TSR's page daily!!

I'd love to learn how to do digital things like fun journaling spots. I see fun shaped brackets, scalloped circles, etc. for titles and journaling spots. I'd love to learn how to do those.

Holly said...

I would like to know the "essentials" to get started with digital scrapbooking. For paper scrapping there's the basic kit, the paper trimmer, adhesive, cardstock...etc, but I have yet to find this for digital scrapping.

Kimberly said...

I would like to know what program to buy that is less complicated. One that is easy for hybrid scrapping rather than "full blown" programs for digital. I am a paper scrapper but recenly have fallen into printing digitals. I would just like to alter some of the colors on the printables and know I need a program to do this. Also, included in this...pricing information would be a plus.

I have never used digital and am quite nervous too! Can you recommend a website with free downloads? Also how do you get over not being able to use your hands? Sounds silly I know but that's what I loved about traditional scrapping and all the embellies!

Denise said...

What do you think about Creative Memories digital scrapbooking software?

Rebecca said...

I currently have Elements 5 and am wondering if I should upgrade to 7 or wait for the next upgrade to come out. So maybe some review on the latest elements and how different (or not) it is from the past ones would help me. Thanks!

Maria said...

I am not a digital scrapper, BUT I would love to learn more about photo editing software. Adobe seems like rocket science - and it is so expensive. Are there any other options?

I am a COMPLETE novice to digital scrapping and in fact am somewhat of a dinosaur when it comes to the computer. I would love to know what programs/sites/software is SO user friendly that my grandmother could use it!! (I don't say that my 8 year old could use it, cause she is more computer savy than I am!!)

Thanks

I would really love how to use digital elements on my traditional scrapbooking pages. I don't have the ability to update my old computer with the Photoshop program (all about the money!), so I would love to know if there are ways to download or purchase elements that don't necessicarily have to be used in Photoshop. Like I know that Ali Edwards has some elements that can be downloaded as a PDF, but I'm not sure if there are any others.

Love your site!

Would like to understand how to use Templates like the kind on Scrapbooks Etc (free collage templates). I would love an intro to the whole digi scrappin world..How do you print?; Doesn't it cost a fortune in ink?; When you buy digital paper and embellishments, can you use them over and over or just once? Could someone do it without an internet connection, like at a crop? Obviously, an intro. starting from square one would be great for me!

I'm from Scotland so I'm not eligible for the giveaway (I have my sad face on!)but thought I'd pass on my comment anyway.

I'm not really that keen on digital as I love getting my hands on the products. However there are pages that I've seen done (Emilie's and others) that I really like and would like to know if it's possible to use "brushes" on your pages or fancy edges to your photos with no software at all!
