New Cricut Cartridge Releases

Provocraft has just released two new cartridges available online and in stores now. I am happy to say that these Cricut cartridges seem to get better and better. These two include more images and usable options than ever before. Here are the new cartridges and the images they cut.

Lyrical Letters

You can purchase Lyrical Letters at:
eBay - $55.00 (shipping included)
Cricut-Xpress.com - $60.00 (not including shipping)
MemoryMiser - $55.99 (not including shipping)

Life's A Beach

You can purchase Life's A Beach at:
eBay - $54.95 (shipping included)
Cricut-Xpress.com - $60.00 (not including shipping)
MemoryMiser - $55.99 (not including shipping)
.
What do YOU think? If you own a Cricut what do you think of these cartridges? Do you agree with me that they seem to include a lot more options and images? That Lyrical Letters cartridge has 5 distinct alphabets...MUCH more value for the money.
What I really want to know is would you buy the Life's A Beach cartridge even if you don't live by water? Because I think it's very cute, but I wonder how much I would truly use it.

I have both a cricut and a craftrobo pro- so I don't buy the font cartridges- I can do that on my own. The font cartridge does have many more choices than some of them have had in the past.

Life's a Beach has lots of choices and i will probably get it. I live in Florida so it works for me anyway. If you don't live by the water, have a pool that you use often or vacation in tropical getaways I am not sure how much you would use this one.

I've noodled over purchasing a Cricut for a couple of years now, but just haven't seen how it would work for me and the way I scrap. It would be nice to borrow one from someone someday and play with it for a while.

I do like the look of the Lyrical Letters cartridge - seems like I could get a lot of use out of that one. Not so much the Life's a Beach cartridge.

I love how the Lyrical Letters has so many options. I would buy it for sure. Life's a Beach is too cute. We have a pool & could use it some, but I'm not sure if I would use it enough.

Life's a Beach just arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I got mine online for 50.25 including shipping (I used a coupon). It just arrived yesterday and I haven't even had a chance to open it. Lyrical Letters is on my wish list.

I just received my Life's A Beach cartridge and can't wait to play with it! I got mine for $53.99 and FREE shipping at Scrapbookpal.com. I'm not affiliated with them in any way- just thought I'd pass along a good deal I found if anyone is looking for one.

I won't be buying Life's a Beach it's cute but I'd never use it Lyrical Letters on the other hand...a must have for me.

I'm saving my pennies and hoping to get 2-3 more carts this year. My only fear is that they will stop making certain ones before I have a chance to save up for them.

They are getting better! I do really like the "life's a beach" cartridge - I have kids, so I see lots of possibilities - especially parties!

WOW! I can't believe you get all those fonts on one cartridge! And the prices seem to be getting better. Don't they usually run like $70-90? I have one of the original Cricuts (smaller size) and don't have that 3rd party software to use truetype fonts, cartridges are still for me - Lyrical Letters looks like a winner!
Now the Beach one...I don't think that's for me. Sure, I'd use the generic dies for summer - waves, sun, swimsuits...gosh, maybe a SeaWorld LO and I could use the flowers/leaves too, but a majority of the images I just don't see myself using.
Thanks for the heads-up on the new cartridges!

I got a Cricut for Christmas and I LOVE it. Especially for the fonts, it saves me money because I don't purchase quite as many alpha stickers/rub-ons, etc. (Though I haven't given up on them totally--that would be crazy!)So as you can imagine, I think Lyrical Letters would be WELL worth the money and I will have to get my hands on that one SOON. But I would buy the Beach one too. I can see lots of potential in those many shapes--I often use them as templates for fabric projects, plus they are great for cards!

I am SO happy that cricut is including multiple options on each cartridge. They need to compete with products that can cut from your computer. This is a fantastic way to do this!

Love the lettering one and that is a huge amount of options on it. Unfortunately it will probably take forever to hit our shores and the price will reflect that.

Oh I would totally buy the Life's a Beach set. Though we are land locked here in AZ, we go to Carlsbad every summer and other water based places. So woo hoo!! Bring it!

I work at a local Robert's Arts and Crafts on Saturdays and yesterday I was demo-ing the Cricut with the Lyrical Letters cartridge and I have to say that I LOVE IT!

I don't personally own a Cricut (and probably never will) but I loved the diversity of the fonts and options available with this particular cartridge. I had to make a project example for a class that I'm teaching, and I found all the components that I needed on this single cartridge! It was so awesome.

If I owned a Cricut, I would definitely want the Lyrical Letters cartridge.

Thanks for the heads up on the new cartridges. I think I'm going to start looking locally for the lyrical letters one.

Oh yes, I love these. I like the lyrical letters as well. I will need to get those!

I love the lyrical letters cartridge- like you said I love how different the alphas on each feature look. Also would love to see a review on the cricut design studio. I have it but just can't seem to get it to work.

I agree ~ the Lyrical Letters is a steal ~ 5 alpha fonts on 1 cartridge!!?!

The beach one is cute, but I don't think I'd get my money's worth out of it.

Those look awesome!!!! Looks like they have a lot more on them and I am adding them to my wish list!!!!

When I was looking at this at first I thought they were several different font cartridges and then when I realized that they were all on one...wow! I would buy that one for sure. The option 2 reminds me of the fling font/kohl's font.
I wouldn't buy the beach cartridge, but if there was someplace to rent from (like a cricut library) I may use it for a specific project.

I would love to see a review on the SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) software for the cricut.

I got purchased my Cricut Expression about a month ago. I have bought a few cartridges to start off with and would love to have the Life's a Beach and Lyrical Letters cartridges. I live in central PA--no where near the water--but with my love of all things beachy and with family & friends who also share that love(especially my 2 yr old), the Life's a Beach cartridge would definitely get its use! Both cartridges seem to have more options and are less expensive than some of the past cartridges.

Love, love, love Lyrical Letters! Must go buy NOW!!!! :)

I would have to go with Lyrical letters (it is totally on my wish list). It seems so versatile and I know I would use it more than the Beach one - even though that one is totally cute.

I like that first one.

Do all those letters come on one cart. Or is each font a different cart.

I have to go read more about this.

Love the cartridges shown here. I would love to add these to my collection of Cricut Cartridges!
