We are so excited to show you today's prizes!

Wow! I am first! WOO HOO! Okay so I would love to see this site tell it how it is. If you love a product, tell us why. If you think a product stinks, tell us why. Oh and I think it would be fun to have guest reporters. I can't wait for the first article. I am sure it will be fab!

I think this is going to be one of my daily "go-to" sites! I love the fact that you're on facebook! It gives me an extra reminder. I am looking forward to learning about new products, as well as some fresh, new techniques. Also hoping to "meet" some new & talented artisans!

It would be nice to learn new techniques and maybe even inovative ways to use our existing products and tools.

Looking forward to future reviews!

I am so excited for this site. I will definitely be checking it everyday for your tips and recommendations. I would love to see some video tutorials on this site along with all the things you mentioned above. I am one of those that seeing with my eyes makes it stick in my head. :-)

Good luck, I know you guys will do great!!!

I love those papers, by the way.....and I would love to win, too. :-)

Those are some gorgeous giveaways you've got there.

I'd like to see reviews so I can save money by not buying something that'll disappoint or doesn't work well like it's supposed to. This is, of course, particularly important for the pricier tools and products. I'm also a big fan of tutorials. Anything that would help or give new and creative ways of using stuff is great for me.

Thanks and I'm looking forward to some really substantive and objective reviews.

Jess said...

I am looking for truthful reviews that will help me to save money by not buying what I WON'T use or don't need, and point me in the right direction for things I really NEED! Basically, some good old-fashioned enabling! :-)

Jenn in Alaska said...

I am really excited about this site! It will be great to get tips from people who love and use scrap products as much as I do! I am REALLY looking forward to your tutorials and how to make older things in my stash new again!

I'll be subscribing.. and will be back to see what's going on..
Thanks.. =)

Holy Moly! What a great giveaway! i would like to see reviews on kit clubs & also on some of the more expensive tools that most us would put a lot of thought/research into before buying (e.g. printers, cameras, cutting tools etc). Plus i always like to know what the latest products & trends are!

elissa said...

I want to know about a tool before I actually buy it so that I can buy tools that I will actually use.

Plus, I want to get some creative ideas from some of my favorite scrappers!

Nathalie said...

WaZAAAAA! Those prizes are amazing today!!!! And everything you listed is exactly what I am expecting from this site! I think you covered it all!

Annie said...

Even with a limited budget, I still LOVE to buy scrapbooking "stuff". I don't want to use my precious $$ on something that I won't like. This site will help me find the tools/products/ideas to inspire me for less!!!
Just reading about products makes me want to run out and buy them!

I have loved this week and am looking forward to all you have in store for us! I would like to see tools used (like the threading water punch from Fiskars, I had to watch a tutorial just to start using it right...), also to see those tools used in different ways. Pen reviews. Favorite adhesives. And just the continued fun your site provides- thanks for the chance to play (and learn!)

Woot! What a fantastic bunch of prizes! :)

I'd love to see lots of great ideas about using up what we have. I'm sure that I'm not alone in having way too much stuff that gets forgotten about!

Money saving tips would be great as well!!!!

Thanks for the chance!

Wowzers! Look at all those fabulous products!!

I'm anxious to hear honest reviews on products, tools, etc. Perhaps little video clips on how to use some of the machines etc...like the Bind it All, Slice, etc. Information that will help me decide if a product is for me, kwim? Thanks!

Deana said...

I'm excited to be able to "try it" before I actually buy it. Yay, thanks for the chance to win!

Amy said...

So happy to have found this site! ;-) I don't have a big scrapping budget, so this site could really help me by telling me what's really wirth the price. I'd love to hear real reviews, especially since I order mostly online and don't actually see the item in person ahead of time. Thanks for setting up this awesome site! Amy in CA

Haberdawoman said...

I would love to see lots of new creative techniques, as well as the latest trends and products and which ones people loved and did not love so much. You know that all looks great when we first see it and but it and then..... Pffffffffffff total dissapointment.
Have a wonderful weekend ladies.

Becky said...

I am hoping to learn all about the products (good and bad) but I'm also hoping to see how to use product smartly - get the best bang for the buck and how to make things stretch. Not sure if that is what you were going for with this site as far as the $$ stuff. But I am looking forward to your reviews. Great staff!

Erin Glee said...

I am hoping The Scrap Review will narrow down what I "want to want" to what I "need to want" with the little purchase power that I have. Every penny counts! Even looking at products I may not buy is my favorite way of wasting time~I love EYE CANDY and I have a sweet tooth for scrapbook supplies and get giddy over the prospect of possibly winning a Giveaway. I think I'm 'gonna like it here!

Ravengirl said...

I would love to be able to come to this site and see all the latest in the crafting world! I think it would also be great to see how new products work well with already established products as well.

CIndy Major said...

I am hoping that this site will allow me to keep track of all of the new products in one spot and to better judge what is worth spending money on or not. There is SO much available out there and the budget can only stretch so much, so I do appreciate good, honest reviews. Every product has their use, but sometimes, when you read magazines, it feels like everything is just oh-so-wonderful and something you need. If something is just okay, I would appreciate reading about it!

Looking forward to exploring your site more. :)

And thanks for shipping outside of US - this is really appreciated!! :D

I love the idea of a site like this because I don't have a great LSS near me. I would love to see full collections of new products and get unbiased reviews of tools. With the economic times like this, I need to be more discerning in my purchases!!

Pam said...

I want to get lots of honest reviews about manufacturer releases. I would love to see examples of how to use each line with actual color photos to see how versatile the line really are. Thanks for doing this :)

Jen said...

I'd like to honestly know if something worth spending the money on or if it's something that will be used once or twice and that's it.

:) Free giveaways are always fun too :)

Missy said...

I want creative ideas for projects and how to use some tools I already have or some that I'm wanting.
Thanks! This is so great!

Shannon said...

I am looking forward to honest reviews that will help me to avoid wasting my money on inferior products. I am also hoping for inspiration to create great pages with the products I already own!

Jewel said...

I would love to see reviews of the most current tools and products. It would be nice to get "the real deal" on them as it is hard to get objective opinions on products from the magazines, etc. I usually only get that type of review from a friend who may have already purchased the product. I think honest reviews would be so helpful and save me money!

Thanks for all the wonderful prize opportunties!

Michelle said...

The 2 things that I would love to hear about the most is how to save me money, example: using what I already have, using things around my home, using the comp for free stuff online, etc. And 2, reviews on which products do there job and which ones stink.
Looking foward to another great site!

joscelyne cutchens said...

I can't wait to read about why products are good (or bad) additional ideas on how to use products and just what's cool that I have to have! :)

Elizabeth said...

I'd like to learn money saving tips as well as creative tips. Also to be kept up to date on new tools and lines.

Thanks!!

Spongemom Scrappants said...

I wish some site (you guys maybe) would show those serendipitous combos out there like when a paper from company A and a paper or embellie from company B go PERFECTLY together. I run into those in my scrapping and love it. I think it would be neat to have a place to "catalogue" those.

Other than that, I'm all about being enabled, baby!

k8 said...

Yes - all of those things! learning, inspiration - and fun. but how could it not be with the staff you've got on board. I can't wait.......

CJandErik said...

My goal by reading your site is not to waste money. Not really to save it (cause I'm going to spend it)... just not to buy junk. It's so sad when something looks so cool and then I get it home and realize it's junk. (Fiskar's circle cutter comes to mind) Oops did I say that out loud. I really hope you say things out loud. Good AND BAD.

Audrey said...

I would like to know if a new tool is really worth buying. I always second guess investing in some new fad, wondering if I'll use it more than once.

I'm excited about inspiration too! I love to see all styles and try to mix it up myself.

Great idea ladies!

I want to know the pros and cons of everything related to scrapbooking!

Norma Kennedy said...

What I am mostly looking forward to are the reviews. Im tired of spending money , realizing that the item was not worth it and than only to find out that there were plenty of people who felt this way.
A quick stop here before any shopping is what Im talking about :' )

Looking forward to seeing product reviews and also the products in action. I'd also like to see tips on tools that you can do double duty so I can get more use out of them.

Amy said...

I'm game for anything, but honest, reflective reviews would be the best. We all get so excited about everything new, taking a bit of pause to really evaluate the pros and cons would be great!

Gretchen said...

I want all of the above! :-)

To save money, get creative ideas, tutorials and tips, how to utilize tools I already have, and stay to stay current on new trends and products. All of the above! I think having a variety would bring in more viewers.

Cassi said...

I want to see thorough reviews that point out all the bad, not just the good. I love tutorials -- learning new techniques or ways to use old techniques to make something "new" again. I am obsessed with new product and staying on top of trends. I'm really looking forward to the Scrap Review's coverage.

Would love to see some money saving ideas, organization tips, tutorials and honest reviews of new scrapbook items! I can't wait!

i'd love to be able to keep up with the latest trends in scrapbooking and see how you put them to use. i also want honesty. if you think something is a waste then say so and the same goes if you think its a must have. i want to be able to have a trusty source for honest opinions and not have to worry that a product is endorsed because the reviewer is somehow benefitting.

creative ideas for sure

ways to save money.. for sure

I would love to hear about the Cricut deep cut housing. I have had nothing but issues and I am normally good with this kind of thing. I would also generally like to see a comparison of different tools, cost, ease of use and applicability to daily scrapping!

I am looking forward the most to seeing reviews on new tools.
I am the person that has bought every stupid tool out there.. The MM tag maker, MM crimper for their little metal tags, Notch & Die tool, Fastenator, various eyelet setters and other numerous tools that just sit and collect dust.. You name it, I probably have it.

So PLEEEEEASE help me figure out what's worth buying and what's not! :)

This is the first time I have been on TSR site and I am thrilled to find it! With so much out there to choose from in tools and embellishments etc., I'd like to know how to achieve some of those beautiful projects I see now without the use of so many costly extras. Especially now that the budget muncher is among us here in VA! Does anyone remember where the crazy quilt idea came from? It appears our generation may need to try that approach during the economic downturn. I look forward to reading more reviews! Happy crafting!

In general I want to learn about the products on the market today... as far as the pro's and con's of tools. What tools/supplies am I going to get the most for my money from. I always like to see the new gadgets that are out there... but being on a tight budget.. can't go buy them all! LOL I want to spend my money on things with a knowledge of what I am buying and what I am going to get out of it.

I'm really looking forward to brutal honesty, lol. I want to know if an item is worth buying before I spend my money on it :D

Heather Prins said...

whooo hooo i love this site!! I am hoping to pop in hear and see how a product is used and the pros and cons of that product so i can decided if it is worth buying.

I already love this site. I can't wait to see what you start doing next week. I am open to learning anything. New or old I don't care. I love it all. This is already one of my daily stops.

Gabby319 said...

First I have to say wow and double wow!! Never heard of this site before. Glad I stumbled upon it.

Now I have to agree with the bit about brutal honesty here. We need to really know if a product is really all that or just a push to get sales jumping. I also want to learn how to correctly use a product and most of all, which product works best for what job, such as which glue for which thing , etc. With money being as tight as it is, we just cannot afford to spend on things that really don't work. Please keep the site going (which I know in itself is going to be tough in this economy).

I would like to see new techniques for:

Household recycling

I'm one of those scrapper's that always has a hard time with technique ideas. I know how to do the technique but can't figure out what to do.

I definetly want to see new products/releases. Your ideas on how to use them in LO's, cards & altered items for gifts.

I have to say I'm a value scrapping gal. I don't purchase a line of paper with coordinating embellishments. I take some on-hand items, buy one or two new items (like paper or 1 embellishment), plus use some household "stuff" to embellish (I've used bubble wrap on a layout).

SOOOO... I would like you to help us find the best bang for our buck. Maybe even show which different paper lines would mesh together. Or report when you hear of a good sale somewhere.

And keep up the giveaways! Thanks and good luck to your new blog.

I would like to see reviews of new products coming out, consumables that I would be likely to buy, such as papers and embellishments.

I love a sight that can tune me into new products and if they are as amazing as the manufacturer claims them to be, plus inspire me with creativity and know how!

This site is definitely on my google reader. I don't want to miss a single post.
I want to learn everything there is to know about the CRICUT (small one). I can make a word or letter but thats about it. I'm a visual learner so i need videos not written instructions.I saw some wondrous cricut works on Jen Low's blog.I don't know how to change a blade or what all it can cut thru. Can it cut thru TEN SECONDS METAL? generally everything about the cricut.
Also i want to know about other such machines with the same details.
How do you make an envelope you can actually send in the mail? how are cards sized? i've seen codes but i have no idea what they mean.
I could go on and on but that should get you started,LOL. ms.cheryl

I am also hoping that there will be some tips and a way to utilize tools and products. I am hoping all this for one place because my life has so much else in it that I don't have time to be going from site to site to see these things. I am excited by the prospect that this is what you will deliver!! Thankyou scrap review!!!

I am just getting started in scrapbooking, and it is sooo overwhelming! There aren't many sources locally for scrapping, so not many opportunities to learn about tools and techniques. It's great to have tutorials and ideas that I can access on the computer.

Hi, I think that this site is going to be fantastic. I live in Australia so the tools that we purchase are pretty much double what you pay in the states. That is Ok but I think that this site will help me understand whether something is worth it or not and give me ideas on how to use them better. I am also interested in the inspiration that I will get from seeing how all of the girls show us their styles and trends. Here's to you and a fantastic site that will be a daily stop for me.
Thank you for coming up with this great concept.
Siobhan

Sue Bone said...

I am looking for honest reviews that are independent of the manufacturers so that I can avoid expensive mistakes with tools that don't pay for themselves and do what they ought to do.

Debbie said...

Thanks for the wonderful giveaways.

I would like to see honest reviews about products. There are a lot of punches for sale. Which one will be the best for my money? Which one will I use the most? That is just an example of what would help me. The same on paper. Some of the papers cost over a dollar a sheet. Which ones are worth it?

I love tips on how to get allI can from a product. Also the new trends I like to see.

I live in a town that does not have a scrapbook store. We have Michaels and Hobby Lobby. For alot of papers etc, I am buying off the internet. What is my best Bang for the buck.

Always in the past I did not think too much about the cost of items. Now I do. I want my money to go as far as it can. It also would be helpful to learn ways to use up my old papers and supplies.

Thanks for listening. Good luck to all of you on such a great idea for a blog.

First, let me say - WOO HOO! Thanks for picking me :o)

I think what I am looking for is a potpourri of stuff...I want a little review because sometimes I'm not sure the new pricey things are worth my while if I'm only going to use it a little bit or if the learning curve is steep. I am always up for inspiration of the new and the old, but more so of the old. And, save money, yeah, baby....show me where the good deals are. Thanks ladies, you all ROCK!!!

Karen said...

I know I'll appreciate the reviews. There isn't much new locally, so I need to order supplies and hate doing it when I'm not sure. Tutorials and inspiration are always appreciated as well.

I am bookmarking this site and visiting daily! I will also join the facebook group, And make a post about this site on my blog! I can not wait to see all the new and exciting things this site will have! Thanks Everyone!!!

I live in Iowa. Need I say more?

Ok, I live in Cedar Rapids, IA to be exact. The flood of 08 took out 1 of only 2 scrapbook stores, both being 30 miles from my house (in Coralville). They're not easy to get to and I'm in desperate need of inspriation. I long for the day I can live in a place that I can have scrap days with girlfriends at local scrap stores or at my house; until then... this is all I got. I dumbed into this site through Noel's paper passion & pixel mania site. I've been following it for some time... love the great photography and scrapbook inspiration. I'm like a sponge soaking up everything I can get. Love to keep current and always excited to try new ideas.

How can we use some of our "old" tools to do what the "new" tools do? I know everyone does not have the money to buy all the new tools coming out. Can we make do with what we have or are there new tools out there we just CAN'T do without?! Thanks for the great site!
