Hip Hip HOORAY!
The moment we have been anticipating is here!
Welcome to our first day of our 7 day launch.

If you have looked around our site already you may have realized that here at TSR we know that you, as a consumer, are the ones who are calling the shots. But first, today's prize....

Hello Kitty dies Prize Pack from Sizzix.
These dies have a beach theme and are so cute and versatile. You can adorn cards, layouts and other projects with these cute little cut outs.

To be eligible to win please:

- leave a comment on this post telling us which TOOLS you want to see reviewed on our site in the future.

- comment must be posted by MIDNIGHT PST/3:00AM EST.

(This drawing IS eligible for International shipment)

Making Memories Slice, since I'm still not sure how it differs from my Cricut. Thanks!!

Elena said...

Quickutz Silhouette, I can't figure out if I should spend that much money or not....

Nathalie said...

Yeah! Opening day!
I am not necessarily interested in the "big" tools (like the die-cut machines) but more by the more affordable tools I might pick up here and there...

meganklauerphotography said...

I second the Making Memories Slice that Christine mentioned. I am so excited for the launch and am looking forward to checking out the blog daily. :0)

Joli said...

I would like to know more about the cardstock blade for the Cricut. Will this blade work with the origional Cricut? Its a big investment to make if it doesn't work. I know this is not a super new thing, but I would like to know more about it.

Joli said...

I meant to say chipboard blade.

Cynthia B. said...

I'd like to hear about die-cut machines, specifically dies that are must-have. I have one of the original Sizzix machines and a Cricut, but now there are so many out there, and I'd like to get the best bang for my buck. (Just looking at the responses above, I'd say we're all interested in these different machines!) I'm not even sure these bigz dies that are a giveaway will fit w/ my old Sizzix? (See? I need help!)
Thanks for the new site! :)

Rebecca White said...

I would like to see a review of the slice. I would also like to see a review of various paper trimmers and what work best for what kind of paper/materials.

Naomi said...

yeah! I love this site (already)

I would love to know the differences/comparisons between the wishblade, pazzles, Silhouette.

Christi in AZ said...

I have been so waiting for this day and the FUN to begin!!

I'd like to see honest reviews of the FRED magnet board thing. Is it REALLY usefull for the average scrapper???

the real ~Roxann~ said...

I want trimmer reviews!!!

I still haven't found a trimmer that meets ALL my needs and remains 100% accurate in it's cutting lines. It's so frustrating to have it "just a bit" off!

Pretty please with sugar on top!

mustangkayla said...

Trimmers! I'd love to find one that actually cuts straight, doesn't leave a fuzzy edge and doesn't need a blade change often!

sarahw said...

This is going to be fun. I would love to see a review of the different inks and what kind of paper is the best use for them. :)

Erica said...

oooooh, what a wonderful little niche you've created here. A must stop for any scrapbooker...new or seasoned.

I'm interested in a couple of tools. I have the Tonic personal trimmer (which I'm loving), but also want a guilotine for at home and I'm not sure if Tonic is best for that or if there is a better one out there I haven't heard of yet.

Also, the corner rounder for everything (chipboard, etc). I don't even know who makes it and I've never seen it.

Oh, and I'm considering getting the Big Shot because of how it works with all the different dies, but is it really easy to use and figure out how to set it up so it works witht the different dies?

And your give-away how darn cute is Hello Kitty?

Katt said...

Tools, always a purchase I am scared to get into. Am I getting the right thing? Is it worth the money?

The tools that I am interested in are the Cuttlebug system, the Crop-a-dile Big Bite, and the Slice.

I would also like to see reviews on the deep cut blade and stamping material for the Cricut.

Again, it will be nice to have one place to come to for all my scrapping product questions!

Angela said...

I'd like to a review of the Slice or other similar machines.

Amy C said...

I'd like to know more about the Zutter Bind-it-all and the corner rounders for chipboard (Zutter and the Paper Gator). I've yet to take the plunge on these tools.
Looking forward to all the great info!

April V said...

I would love to hear thoughts on the new 7 gypsies binderie punch.. i think it looks like a cool tool but would love to know more about it before i buy it..
thanks

barbara in nc said...

I've been looking for a photo printer that can print 12x12 pages. I'd love to have a side-by-side comparison of features.

Also, a review on paper trimmers would be appreciated. I'd love to find a paper trimmer that is light weight, yet actually cuts a straight line without leaving fuzzy edges.

I can't wait to see what you choose to review first!

Susanne said...

Since I just ordered my very first big tool ever, the Big Shot, I would like to know about different things I can do with it!

I can't wait to see what this site brings to scrappers! Thank you for this!!!

I am interested in learning more about the Making Memories Slice. It's on my wish list but I have still to make a final purchase!!

Karen said...

I'd love to see you do a comparison of all the trimmers available. Have yet to find the perfect one as they never cut straight, the blade starts to blunt or you can't really tell exactly where it's going to cut.

Pam said...

I would love the electronic "new" die cutters reviewed :) thanks guys!

I think it would be nice to have a place to see what the various inks and paints can do. Which ones are best for chippie, paper, transparencies, vellum, etc. I know it's not technically a product review, but since someone may read through and decide which one to buy based on any information you provide, it kinda fits!

i'd really like to see an indepth review of the slice. i've had plenty of issues with my machine and it's "consistency" when cutting 4 pieces the same size -- none of the 4 will be exact.

i'd also like to see a nice matrix done comparing the hand powered die cutting machines.

thanks girls!

delsdesigns said...

Hey guys, congrats on a great launch.
I would like to know more about the fiskars small hand held cutter. You know the one that fits onto your forefinger and you can cut around objects really closely. They are orange. Sorry I dont know the name but I did have one but it had a fault, as you could not tighten the blade and it was quite wobbly so therefore dangerous. What I want to know, is it worthwhile getting another one, as while it did work I loved it, or do all of them have that particular fault. Thank you in advance,
Adele Quinn

Lynlee said...

Firstly, CONGRATS girls on your fab new site.

Hello Kitty is my absolute favorite. :)

I'd like to see reviews that compare "scrapbook" tools to their "non-scrapbook" but amazingly similar cousins found at say the hardware store.

For example the BasicGrey - Precision File Set VS a regular precision file set found at Home Depot. Are you getting anything different besides a cute color? and does the price justify it.

I'd like the reviews also to consider the aesthetics of products because I think many of us will agree that you can only go so ugly before saving money starts to not matter. Lots of us buy products for the cute factor...Hello Kitty being an icon of that.

Miwa said...

I'd love to see a review of Fiskars "Push & Print Stamp Factory Kit" - I hear they have a ribbon stamp attachment, which sounds intriguing. Love the new site - thanks for creating it!!!

Great dies for my new BigShot! Which I love! I'm still a bit confused about investing more into the Bigshot or looking at the types of tools that hook into the computer. Eg, Wishblade, Silhouette, etc.

Also...what about digital "tools" like what type of software program to use?

Thanks! Looking forward to checking out this site on a regular basis.
