I thought Noel's article was GREAT. I really like white writing on my pages, but have not ever been able to find a pen I liked. What I loved about her article was that she showed us how it was used on some of her layouts. Thanks so much for introducing us to new tools and techniques!!!

I liked that Noel tried this out on several different surfaces, not just paper. Also looked at the construction of it and saw the plastic nib that shouldn't widen as it's used. Great review Noel. cassie.dambrosio@gmail.com

Wow, I soooo need that pen, when I read the article today I was drooling :), I love how it writes on the different surfaces, I could doodle in white on acetate, how cool would that be :)

I would love to get my hands on that paint pen! I have tried unsuccessfully to fake stitches with my white pens but they are too thick and my gel pens skips a lot. I have the older Sharpie but it is just too thick for most of the things I want to do. Thanks for the great article!

Thanks so much for this review! I have been looking just about forever for a white pen that would *really* work for journaling, and I do believe you've found it! I ordered several of the extra-fine in assorted colors!

Rachel said...

I have a bunch of white pens collecting dust because they are worthless and don't work like I wanted. So I am desperate for a white pen that actually does what it claims!!! This seems to be the one, and with money being tight these days my scrapbook budget has been drastically cut so anything FREE I'm willing to accept.

I loved how Noel showed examples of how she used the pen on different surfaces and what she did to get those results. I am a very visual person, and this was incredibly helpful. Even if I don't win it was a great review. Thanks!!! (rachelcbriggs@gmail.com)

Angela said...

Ok, where can I find one? I love this idea and it being by Sharpie is truely a bouns! I use white pens in my journaling all the time and with the ball point that I have, it takes several coats on certain textures. I love the fact it is fine point, white and in a marker type pen. It seems that it will hold up to most anything you would decide to write on. Oh, how this pen would bring so much more ease to my journaling and altered projects!

Ps. I love The Scrap Review, it sheds light on so many levels of the scrafting community!

I have been searching for this pen!!!

Thanks for the opportunity to win this great Sharpie pen. I absolutely loved Noel's review! A very talented scrapper (and reviewer) indeed. Keep em comin!!

I used to own a white sharpie like this a few years ago and I loved it and it lasted a long time. I thought they quit making them so glad to know they are still around. White markers are an essential in scrapbooking in my opinion.

OMG...I would just love to win this pen. Ali used it in her 25 days of December, but it was very hard to find. I thought I found it on line and ordered two, BUT I unfortunately did not read carefully and it was not the water based pen...lol. I was soooo disappointed and I paid a bunch of postage. The pens did not work well and are not acid free. Anyway I would really really like to try this pen. Thanks for the sweet generosity. Catherine A

I liked Noel's article because she walked her readers right through everything she tried with the pen. She tried it on different surfaces and even gave us the link since it is not easy to find! I find this to be a helpful review, especially as so many white pens do not live up to their hype. Thanks so much for all the info. r2d2wolcott@yahoo.com

I love sharpie! I use them at work, but haven't seen this one! I love the detail in your article, particularly the bit about it being a nib type tip, that makes a big difference to me! I'm on the look out for it now!

lizacreates said...

Yipee! Finally, a white pen that'll write on so many surfaces. I have a few I've tried and most of them do not work well on slick surfaces (like glossy pics). The others...well, I've had to write over a couple of times just to get the journaling to look nice.

What a great pen....that I hope to own one of these days!!! Yes, its very hard to find! I really thought that what Nicole said about the tips of the pens staying sharp throughout the life of the pen was so useful!!! I love that! Thanks for a great blog and a great opportunity!

Robin said...

I really enjoy reading your blog everyday :)

Loved the review. I like the fact that she used it on many different surface and tested it's permanancy. I rushed over to misterart to order a couple and then decided to wait until I needed more supplies. Shipping for the order (Less than $15 in products) was $7.50. Although it doesn't break the bank, I can wait until I have a bigger order to spread out shipping cost.

Hmmmmm....maybe I will win one!!

I loved the review and her pictures of the samples. I really want that pen!! Great job on this website.

Theresa said...

I have enjoyed all the site reviews so far - I like the honest assessments, especially the pros and cons of a particular product.

For this Sharpie white pen, I like that you recognize that finding a white pen that actually works is indeed a challenge. I feel certain I am not the only person who has wasted $$$ on white pens that just don't get the job done - so being able now to get advice I can trust is a great advantage.

KimA said...

I love the look of these pens and if you think acid free Sharpies are hard to get in the US, you should try living in Australia :o)

Erica said...

That's awesome, I have two white pens that were recommended and the flow still isn't close to perfect. Hate the broken look.

I so appreciate the instructions for first use being in the article because I wouldn't have looked for that on my own, now I'll know when I get my hands on one, to read those first. Thanks for pointing that out.
