In The News: Margie Romney-Aslett teams up with Advantus!

Margie Romney-Aslett is teaming up with Advantus to launch a new line called The Girls' Paperie. WOW! In my opinion this is a fantastic acquisition. I have always loved Margie's take on the scrappy world. I am excited to be going to CHA this winter and hopefully get a look at what is to come. Here is what Margie posted on her blog today.

"After months of working on and keeping this under my hat, so to say...I am beyond excited to announce my newest adventure, partnership and honestly a dream come true... I have joined the Advantus family and will be releasing my first signature product lines at CHA Winter {twenty ten} under the brand,

I am so excited to have the opportunity to be working with Advantus and have created two beautiful lines of Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting products. As a long time scrapbooker and paper crafter it has been so much fun to design product that I would want to create with and hope you will too.

Margie, and The Girl’s Paperie, will join the other Advantus brands, including Cropper Hopper, Tim Holtz Ideaology and AMM (formerly All My Memories). Erica Maron, Vice President of Advantus’ Craft and Hobby Division, said “We are excited to get behind The Girls’ Paperie brand and help build it. We look forward to continuing to bring new and innovative products to the marketplace.”

Tim Holtz also mentioned this on his blog today.

"...i am happy to welcome my very creative, genuine, and oh so quirky dear friend margie who is joining the advantus family and launching her first signature line "the girl's paperie" by margie at the cha-2010 winter show. her style, personality, and mix of shabby vintage colors and designs are the perfect compliment to share this creative journey with. i'm so happy for her and all she's accomplished with this new launch and just wait until you see what she's come up with."

Both Margie and Tim will be at the Advantus booth (#2234) at the upcoming Winter CHA in Anaheim. We are excited to stop by and check out Margie's new lines. Exciting Stuff!
