Mint Motif for I Heart Papers

{Reported by Ashley Harris}

If you haven't been living under a rock the last 6 months, you will have noticed several new stamp lines popping up. One of them is Mint Motif for i {heart} papers. So far they have only released 2 stamps sets that compliment each other. Very Square and Very Square Sentiments. Those are what I will be reviewing today, so let's go!

Ease of Use: These were super easy to use as are all clear stamps.

Durability: Being made of polymer, these stamps are great. They are of great quality and if taken care of properly, will last you a good long while.

Usefulness: Like all stamps, they can be used for many different things i.e. altered items, scrapbooking, cards etc. With this set there are many different sentiments which even stretches its usefulness further.

Cost Effective: This is probably the thing I am most excited about. The quality is phenomenal but the price is even better at $10 per set. You can't beat that!!

What I liked:
*I like the great quality of these stamps.
*I like the versatility of them.
*LOVE the cost!

What I didn't like:
*I'm not really excited that the sentiments are in all CAPS.

What I made:

Supplies: Cardstock Bazzill Basics, Stamps: Mint Motif; Ink: Close to My Heart Tulip; Pen: American Crafts; Heart punch EK Success

With this card I stamped the polka dot background and then used a heart punch to cut out my hearts. Pretty easy!

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics White; Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket Delovely; Stamps: Mint Motif; Ink: Close to My Heart Bubblegum; Buttons: Misc

This card was fun to make. I used one of the background stamps and made a fan fold flower to go along with the scalloped border I punched.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket Delovely; Stamps: Mint Motif; Inks:Close to My Heart Bubblegum, Ocean and Sweet Leaf; Rhinestones: Kaiser Craft; Ribbon: Misc

I really love this card. I stamped a few of the background images and again used my scallop punch for the borders.

Where and How Much:
Product: Mint Motif Very Square and Very Square Sentiments Sets
Manufacturer: I Heart Papers
MSRP: $10.00
Available online: iheartpapers.com

Bottom line is I think these stamps are fantastic! For the quality you are getting and the great price, you are getting an exceptional product.

What do you think? Are you in the market for some great stamp sets or are you all "set"? Leave a comment by midnight EST on Thursday to win each of the Very Square sets!

I would love these sayings. . .and I don't mind the fact that they are all capitalized. Agree that that is a great price (on the off chance that I don't win :)

I have been searching high and low for a stamp set that has all the sentiments that I want to express without buying a stamp here and there, etc.

I really like this set. I like that it is simple with clean lines, and I really do like that they are in all caps. I wouldn't mind a set that was all lower-caps though. I like that look too.

Great cards, thanks for sharing!!!

I always think that I am all set with all the stamps that I already own. Then I walk into a store and...Lord help me!...if I even go near the stamp section. There is something new that I can use.

HOW fun are these stamps??? Great projects! I agree--sometimes sentiments need to be in several fonts or sold in sets that are different (same sentiment--but different sizes/etc.).

LOVE it:) Thanks for the chance to win!

I like what you did with them! I don't stamp that often and it is probably because I don't have a large assortment of ink pads. I do like the patterns though and would probably use them for cards and mini's just as you did. So many possibilities with this set. I also am not crazy about the all caps on the sentiments but would still use them. Thanks for the review, very helpful and enabling!

I am not a stamper and must have been living under a rock the past few months, becuase I have never heard of them!!! But they are super cute stmaps, the fact that they use all caps doesn't bother me, what bothers me is when things are randomly mixed with a capital here and there.
