Prima Marketing, Inc. Canvas and flowers!

{Reported by Ashley Harris}

I have long since been a Prima Marketing, Inc fan. I am in awe of some of the creations that are made with their products. I would like to see more simple, graphic styles from them though. So when working with these products that's what I tried to go for. Here is what I got to work with:

Let me say that the quality of Prima is fantastic! From their fabric flowers to their stamps to the canvas. All top notch. So that is never an issue. Their products are just great to work with. Their cost is relatively competitive.

What I liked:

* Quality of products
* Versatility

What I disliked:

* Nothing really

What I made:

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Darcie's; Rub on: Basic Grey; Flower: Prima

What I love about this card is that it is easy to make! The Prima flower in the middle just finished the card beautifully.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper: Studio Calico; Chipboard letters: The Girls' Paperie; Stamp: Prima; Ink: Versamark Watermark; Pen: American Crafts; Button and Hemp: Misc

This layout makes me happy. Why? Because I only had to ink the stamp up once and I got it right on my first attempt! I love it when that happens! The foam stamp was a dream to work with and the image is fab!

Supplies: Apron: Prima Marketing; Alpha letters: Doodlebug; Rhinestones: Prima Marketing; Flower: Prima Marketing; Mist: Chalkboard Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels; Pen: American Crafts

The apron. What to say. I have seen these aprons done up so elaborately and exquisitely embellished. They are gorgeous that way, but not really my style. That is the beauty of having a blank canvas so to speak (wink). You can make it the way you want it and in your style. I am more of a cleaner gal as far as my style goes. (Can't tell by looking at my scrap room, OY!) So here I went for less is more and I LOVE IT!!

Bottom line: I like Prima products because they give quite a bit of an open range as far as your creativity goes. You can go from clean to shabby in a matter of more flowers and jewels. Cost wise, they are competitive and you really can't go wrong there.

Where and How Much:
Product: Apron, foam stamp, flowers
Manufacturer: Prima Marketing, Inc.
MSRP: $4.99-$16.99
Available online:, Emma's Paperie,

What do you think? Is Prima one of your faves or can you take it or leave it? Let us know!!

Woot woot!

Prima is definetely one of my favourite producers, I LOVE all the cute stuff they come up with. Not only do they make the most beautiful paper flowers on the market, they also have the prettiest patterned papers and the most adorable embellishments!

Not a bad word to say about them :)

Love the apron, too!

Prima's flowers are gorgeous but I prefer the "flatter" ones for my layouts. Their stamps are nice too and their scrapbook papers are so pretty. No downside to their products.

Love their stuff! I get the cans of plain ivory flowers that I can paint / mist however we like. :) So versatile! :) How did you color your apron?

I like Prima because they allow for a new style of creativity...which I am trying out for myself. Having boys I usually use Prima only for myself..but that's ok! I am learning by leaps and bounds. Maybe deep down I am an artist...I guess we'll find out! (I admit, though, I don't "get" the apron thing)

I have always loved Prima's products. Especially their flowers, and papers. Interesting to see they have canvas aprons and such. The new tulle and fabric flowers are awesome!
