Little Yellow Bicycle "Booville"

{Reported by: Kimberly Crawford}

Ok, so I went a little crazy with making projects, cards, and layouts with this line. Its fantastic. Its so fantastic. I have piles of photos waiting to be scrapbooked. Its ugly. I mean, three years of Halloween? But, as soon as I started opening all the embellishments in this collection, I was ready to get creating. Booville is wonderful product, with tons of possibilities. I am not a sticker girl. But these, these are seriously cute and well designed. Along with the chipboard, canvas, patterned papers, and well, all of it.

"Happy Halloween"

Booville: Patterned paper (Black Poison Dots, Decorative Edge Cardstock), Word and star Stickers (Cardstock Stickers Favorite Verses), Chipboard (Chipboard Shapes with Glitter), Date strip (Journal Tablet) Canvas Borders (12"-Canvas Stickers Borders, 5"-Canvas Stickers), Canvas Tag and Date Square (Canvas Stickers)

Love all the word and shape stickers in each of the cardstock sticker collections. They are solid background, which I like because they pop off the page more. The quality of the die cut paper is superb and it has what they call a "thermography" finish. Meaning, its been heat embossed. Shiny and dimensional spider webs on the edge. Fabulous.

"Old Navy Halloween"

Booville-Patterned paper (Dusty Book, Green Poison Dots), Tickets, Center Circle (Journal Tablet), Chipboard (Chipboard Shapes with Glitter), Web border sticker (Cardstock Stickers Favorite Pieces)

The tickets on this layout are cut from the journal tablet pack. Perfect for journaling. The patterned papers all work together beautifully. There is great detail and texture.

"My Jack O Lantern"

Booville: Patterned paper (Candy Dots, Orange Dots with Trim) Die cut cardstock (6x6 Decorative Edge Cardstock), Clear Bats&Clouds and Spider (Clear Cuts shapes with Glitter), Cat, Pumpkin, Frame, Title Stickers (Cardstock stickers Favorite Pieces), Journal spot (Journal Tablet), Canvas Border (12" Canvas Border Stickers)

Booville has a pack of 6x6 Decorative Edge double-sided cardstock. Four thick pieces with great shapes. Makes for easy backgrounds and mats. On this layout, I used the Clear Cuts. They are ok. Too see-through for me. And it was tough to find an adhesive to hide.

"Happy Halloween Wall Hanging"

Booville: Patterned paper (Collage Stripe with Glitter Accents, Orange Dots with Trim), Chipboard Tree, Bat, Clouds (Chipboard Shapes with Glitter), Pumpkin stickers and Letter Stickers (Cardstock Stickers Favorite Pieces)

When I saw this great striped paper, I knew I couldn't cut it. No way. So, I used it to create a wall hanging. Letter stickers were placed onto a strip of orange cardstock and adhered onto the page, with the exisiting pattern. Then various stickers and dimensional embellishments were added. Its been framed in a shadowbox.

"Trick or Treat Card"

Booville: Patterned paper (Green Poison Dots), Frame (Chipboard frames with embossing), Word stickers (Cardstock Stickers Favorite Verses), Chipboard candy (Chipboard Shapes with Glitter)

These chipboard frames are very cool. Tons of texture and embossing. They come in various sizes in the package, card and layout friendly.

"Chipboard Album-House"

Booville: Chipboard Album House, Paper Tablet (5x7)

This last part to show you is an unfinished project, but I had to share. THIS is great. Booville has a chipboard album in the shape of a haunted house. Here comes the coolness-there is a paper pad with die cut pages, double-sided, that perfectly fit the album! Read that again, because you read it correctly. I made this album in a matter of minutes while hanging with the hubby on the couch. I chose my paper and adhered. Simple, easy, fabulous looking. I cannot wait to put this year's Halloween photos in it!

What I liked:

1. The ease of scrapping. The beautiful product made making my pages quick, easy, and good looking.

2. Great variety of product. Cardstock stickers or clear stickers or canvas stickers, its all available for your preference. Include in that, the ability to use this line for cards or layouts.

3. Great colors, usable for everyone, at every age. Yay. Yay. Yay.

What I disliked:

1. While the jouraling tablet had great options, I was looking for smaller label-type shapes to work into my pages.

2. Letter stickers. I know we all have them in our stash, but I wanted something to coordinate.

Its the matching in me. I need to let it go. :)

3. More canvas products. They were great.

I have already purchased some items from this collection, and I love it! It's not too little kid and cutesy, but it's also not too creepy, so it fits pretty much any Halloween application you want to use it for. I love the chipboard diecut shapes - they are all so cute! I would love to get the rest of the goodies from this great line!

I love lines that have everything that match so that my scrapping is faster. Love stickers, as long as they aren't cheesy. I'm usually a huge fan of LYB because of the quality of the product.

This looks like a very nice collection. Not too cutesy or too spooky. Love matching embellishments but like you I'd like alphas too.
