Creating Keepsakes Idea Book Review and Giveaway!!

{Reported by Annie Hafermann}

This is the mother of all scrapping booking publications; really the penultimate inspirational guide for all scrapbookers-from beginners right up there to old-timers. One might even call it the "Bible" for scrapbooking (said with all do respect and reverence for the Bible of course.)

I was so inspired and so enjoyed this special issue so much that I immediately thought "I should write them a Thank You Letter." So here goes...

Dear CK,

WOW, how did you do it? How did you pack so much practical information AND so many inspiring projects into one special issue? I mean really, 219 techniques in one issue. Six sections (Paper, Stickers and Die Cuts, Chipboard, Fabric and Ribbon, Hardware, and Adhesive) all brimming with creative loveliness. I can honestly say that from the very first page all the way to very last page I was thinking things like "Wow, gorgeous" and "What a clever use for that" and "I MUST GET TO MY CRAFT ROOM TO TRY THAT NOW!!" You did such a great job with descriptions of all the ideas and techniques and the step by steps were perfect.

Before I close with another big thank you, I do have one teeny tiny complaint, or rather suggestions. Next time you produce such a smashing issue, could you please sprinkle a little bit of "Mary Poppins Magical Dust" into each issue so that as soon as it's opened, a wonderfully happy and overly qualified Nanny (must be Mary Poppins) comes floating out and whisks the children away for a series of lovely days out.

In closing, I think you created the "must have"

Sincerely,
Annie

Ok this is a must have issue! I really love all Creating Keepsakes magazines, and I keep them on a shelf in my room, when I'm done with them so I can always look back at old issues!!!

I will definitely be buying this issue though. It is worth all the cool tips :)

It does look like it contains a lot of tips - hopefully some not so obvious things as well... I already know loads of techniques, just by browsing the web, reading blogs, etc... But then again - who would ever say no to a giveaway! :-)
