CK Special Issue Scrapbooking Tips& Tricks Stamps & Ink

{Reported by Ashley Harris}

When I received this issue I was pumped! I have been slowly getting into stamping and trying to up my skillz. Yes I did write that with a z...LOL! This was such a fabulous issue! From where to start in your inks and the types of stamps, to making your own background. Good stuff I tell ya!

What I Made:

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Kraft, OP White, Lagoon; Patterned Paper: Crate Paper; Photo Stamp: Studio Calico; Alpha Stamps: Studio Calico; Ink: Tsukineko Versamark Watermark, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black

In this layout I used the photo stamp for the background using the watermark ink. Then made it the focal point with white cardstock and the photos. I also stamped the title. I love how it turned out!

Where and How Much:
Product: Scrapbooking Tips & Tricks Stamps & Ink
Manufacturer: Creating Keepsakes
MSRP: $6.99
Available online: Scrap and Paper Shop.com

What do you think? Are you as inspired as I was? Ready to jump into stamping? Or just think of keeping your feet on the ground? Leave a comment by midnight EST on Thursday to be entered to win your own copy. However, if you don't win here is a coupon you can redeem: Coupon code: CKDT15 (this is good for 15% off all items in the store, and it expires 12/20/2010)

I'm always scared I'm going to make a mistake if I use a stamp on my layout. however I don't know why as I have more than enough supplies to last two lifetimes so I could just start again.

I would love to win this! I'm not into stamping right now, but that can change...

I still haven't gotten into stamping, even though I do own a few. I'm always worried I'll spoil what I'm doing (as I have no patience to practice). Maybe all I need is more encouragement!
