Imaginisce Garden Party and ibond

{Reported by Ashley Harris}

Many manufacturers are releasing mid release lines and Imaginisce is no exception. Their recent release is called Garden Party. It is a very Springy floral type of collection that is nice and pretty. They also released a few tools recently, one being the ibond. The ibond is a cordless hot glue gun. Well I am going to be giving you the run down on both today, so here we go!

ibond

Ease of Use: This is super easy to use. Really you could turn this thing on and work it without the instructions, it's that easy.

Construction/Durability: For the most part it is well made. The only part that is questionable is the battery cover. I can see that this could break if too much force is used in putting it back in place.

Usefulness: This is pretty useful. The best part is that it is cordless. You can take it anywhere! No cord and no special batteries. Just 4 AA batteries and you are golden!

Cost effectiveness: With an MSRP of $15.99, I think it is absolutely a fantastic buy!! Love that price tag!

What I liked:
- I liked that it is light weight.
- I liked that it is cordless and takes normal AA batteries.
- I especially like the price tag.

What I disliked:
-I am not sure I like the battery cover. I wish it was rubberized like the back of the handle. That is my only complaint. Nice huh!

Garden Party

What I liked:
-They have a great variety of stamps that come with this line.
-Loved the smaller, tighter patterns that come in the 6x6 paper pad.
-Just a fun springy line.

What I disliked:
-Though I like the stamps, I wish they would have thrown in a sentiment in there.

What I made:

Supplies: Cardstock Bazzill Basics OP White; Patterned Paper, Flowers, Brad: Imaginisce Garden Party; Stamp: Technique Tuesday; Ink: Tsukineko

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper, Flowers, Brad, Ribbon, Sticker: Imaginisce Garden Party; Pen: American Crafts Memory Marker

Supplies: Headband: Goody; Flowers, brad: Imaginisce Garden party: Used the ibond to glue onto headband.

Hee Hee, I actually made the baby too! LOL!

Where and How Much:
Product: Garden Party and ibond
Manufacturer: Imaginisce
MSRP: Not available yet
Available Online: Not available until mid December. So very soon!!

Bottom Line: I think they did a fabulous job with the ibond and Garden Party is just a fun, sweet line to work with!

What do you think? Is the ibond a tool you can "bond" with or are you going to pass? How is that Garden Party for you? Let us know! Leave a comment by midnight EST on Saturday to be entered to win the entire collection of Garden Party AND the ibond!!

I'm not usually a pastels person, but the springy look is really appealing to me right now-- we have over 20 inches of snow in my front yard, haha! A cordless glue gun sounds great-- no wires to drag over your table and mess up your projects...

I've never seen a cordless glue gun. That's pretty nifty! I'm not sure that I'm in love with the new line though. I'm usually pretty happy with their stuff, but this isn't my style per se :)

I like the colors in that new line. I'm nowhere ready to start scrapping springy photos though- I'm still working on late summer! Good thing paper doesn't expire! Thanks for the chance to win.

Oh I would love the iBond...i have to get out my corded glue gun today to fix a Christmas project and would rather use the iBond!

a cordless glue gun sounds perfect for me - I always get completely tied up with the cable and end up getting tangled up with it! Oh, and the papers are super sweet!
Happy weekend!

Oh I would love to win the ibond! The cord on my hot glue gun is short, so I am confined to a small area of my desk when using it.

The line is just so so cute and looking 4ward to the glue gun

Love it... CORDLESS HOT GLUE... YEP!!! I can never find my hot glue gun cuz I always have to put it away or the cord is always in my way! OMG...you can even take this to a crop!!! (or carry it in your purse!!).. Gotta get one!! Loving that paper line too! Everything you made is super cute...(esp the baby...lol!!!)

This looks fantastic. With a one year old who likes to be with me when I craft this would make me to not have to worry about cords laying around. I can have it up high and out of his way. Thanks so much for the chance to win.

With two girls of my own and having three nieces, I can definitely use the Garden Party in my scrapbooking. Also, I love tools and cordless ones are portable.

iLove iBond! OK, am I seriously the only one who thought of that (or I'm on the only shmuck who said it).

Great tool, and the Garden Party collection looks wonderful! My girly nieces would go nuts!

Good job on the baby, too! Must have taken some work for that wee project ... she's ADORABLE!

Hmmm, never thought of using a hot glue gun in my scrapbooks. Not sure why...Love the beautiful florals in that new line.

Vicky said...

Very good work on the baby, Ashley - she's adorable! Love the headband too of course!

I'm not a very pink girly type, but the iBond (even though it's pink) seems very useful... It seems to work for pretty big attachments as well... I wonder if you use more or less of it compared to glue dots...

scrapper al said...

I usually love Imaginese, but was not interested in this line until I saw your projects. I'd love to have a cordless hot glue gun. The cord is always getting in the way.

Anke said...

I like the springlook of this Garden Party release. And the ibond seems to be a "must-have"

csparky61 said...

I think it would be handy to have a battery operated glue gun, is it low heat? The paper is pretty too.

Kelly Massman said...

I like the idea of no cord on the glue gun! And, the collection is so cute/pretty! TFS!

Looks like a great little glue gun, always hated that cord. The paper collection is so pretty, perfect for babies and spring. Thanks for a chance to win these.

Lovin the ibond for it's portability and pinkness! Thanks so much for this review and info on these seemingly great products!

I think the iBond is a great tool - why didn't anyone think about a cordless hot glue gun before?!
As for Garden Party...it's hard for me to even think about spring yet (I'm deep in the middle of Christmas cards, after all ;) - but I do like the small florals and the stripes. 6x6 is the way to go for cardmaking!
Thanks for the chance to win!

I think I'd use the iBond tool a lot! I like not having a power cord to worry about and the portability of it then to work anywhere with hot glue. I love the colors in the paper line as well--very girly and pretty and springy. Thanks for the chance to win a great prize! Anne, yourmainestamper

Insights from Geniuses??? Well, as there is no where else to comment I guess I will have to stick it here. Don't really qualify but I do love to chat! :D
First, your projects are all gorgeous! (Most of all your cutie-patootie) and I love the simplicity of your LO and card. It's so easy when you have PP that speaks for itself. And the headband is such a cute use of scrappy supplies. You can create something special for every occasion.
The cordless glue gun is an awesome idea if it works that well. I get so frustrated with all the cords dangling around my feet when I am doing a project. Sounds good to me!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration and thoughts today! :o)

I have been waiting for the I-Bond since I first saw it. Portable, lightweight and reasonably priced. What's not to like! And thanks for the tip---I'll be careful handling it! And Garden Party will be perfect for pages of my 5 yo granddaughter, and my garden, and Easter, and......LOL! I love it!
