My CHA-W 2012 favorites

{Reported by Mindy Miller}

Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite times of year. I absolutely love the unveiling of new paper crafting products and this year it was even more exciting because I had the chance to see it all in person at CHA.

It is hard to pick favorites because I saw so many fun and fabulous new items. I could literally make a list of favorite items that includes something from every vendor.

Two complete lines really captured my attention: October Afternoon's Woodland Park and My Mind's Eye Follow Your Heart by Rhonna Farrer. The images below hardly do these lines justice.

October Afternoon's Woodland Park incorporates an unexpected rich blue element with classic pink, yellows, and creams.

Follow Your Heart by My Mind's Eye is available in either an aqua or pink palate. Both are literally breathtaking in person and offer a full compliment of embellishments.

Some of my favorite embellishments were found in the new lines from Heidi Swapp. These paper bow ties are just one example of the fresh andfunky items. Think label stickers, photo frames, and pennants that are classic Heidi Swapp, but with a new twist.
The Crafter's Workshop has once again collaborated with Julie Fei-Fan Balzer of Balzer Designs and is offering a wide variety of new 12x12 and 6x6 stencils. This one -- circle explosion -- was a favorite!
And last, but not least, is something that was completely unexpected... new patterned papers and twine from Lawn Fawn.

I could literally go on and on about all of the great products at the show. Have you started a shopping list? I definitely have!
