Prairie Hill by Pink Paislee

{reported by Amy Tan}

At first glance, I was not too sure how I could use some of the products in the Prairie Hill collection from Pink Paislee. Much to my delight, after I began using it, I really started to enjoy the colors and patterns. Though a slight departure from my preference for more vibrant colors, this was a fun collection to work with, and perfect for spring/summer.

What I liked:

- I liked the patterns - the polka dots and stripes especially.

- I liked the quality of the acrylic stamps.

- The adorable sticker sheet - I wish I had another just with the clouds and hearts.

What I disliked:

- I would have liked less kites and references to kites, especially in the stamp set.
I found that the theme limited the photos I could actually use.

What I made:

Where and How Much:
Product Name: Prairie Hill
Manufacturer: Pink Paislee
MSRP: $0.80  - $19.99
Available at: scrapbook.com, *twopeasinabucket.com and Blue Moon

Bottom Line:  I think the collection's colors are versatile enough to use for both girl and boy layouts and the icons would work best with outdoor photos. It would especially be fun to use with pictures at the park.

Thanks for reviewing this collection! When I first saw it, I did like the color palette but was unsure too of how I could use it. I will definitely take another look at this collection.

I used this line to scarp some kite photos...but I can totally see that it is a little too themey! Great line though!

Great review. I like the patterns on here though I agree with the limitations of the kites. I just have to figure out a way to creativly turn that into fitting some of my photos. Great line.

I love the colors and patterns in this collection, and yeah, there are a lot of kites, but I'm OK with that. Even if you don't need those for scrapbooking, they are great for cards.

I love the tiny alphas and colors/patterns of the paper but I would more than likely end up using a lot of the kite elements in a mini-book or on cards.

I actually like kite images, so this would be a good collection for me. I mostly make cards, so maybe that is the difference.

I love the colors in the collection. And I believe there should be alternative uses for the kites. So it should still work for me. Looks like a really lovely collection.

Thanks for the chance.
