Avocado Arts Stamps

{Reported by Ashley Harris}

If you are part of the stamping world you will know about Avocado Arts.  They have clean and fun stamps that are released monthly.  You can join the club and get discounts or buy them a la carte.  Now the real question is:  Are they any good?  Well let's find out shall we?

What I liked:
The crisp, clean images you get with each stamp.
The have super fun themes that applies to everyone.
You can mix and match stamp sets.  The sentiments of one will fit into an image of another.

What I didn't like:
Nothing.  These are high quality, fantastic stamps.

What I made:

When making these cards I wanted to use a plain white background to showcase these stamps.

Size 4x4
Supplies:  Cardstock:  Bazzill Basics OP White;  Clear Stamps: June 2011 Sunshine and Smiles, Markers: Copic

With this card I mixed it up a bit.  You will notice that there isn't a fire or logs or smoke in any of these sets.  I took the flower image for the fire.   Used the trunk of the tree for the logs and the butterfly "moving" image for the smoke.  So fun!!

Size 4x4
Supplies:  Cardstock: Bazzill Basics OP White; Patterned Paper:  Echo Park Paper, Lilybee Design, My Mind's Eye; Clear Stamps: Avocado Arts June 2012 Let's Catch Up; Dye Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

This card was  a fun one to make.  Paper piecing the envelope in the net was just fun.

Size 4x4
Supplies:  Cardstock:  Bazzill Basics Op White; Patterned Paper: Lilybee Design; Echo Park Paper; Glitter: Stickles by Ranger; Baker's Twine: Aqua Divine Twine, Cotton Candy Divine Twine by Whisker Graphics; Clear Stamps: Avocado Arts January 2012 Sweet Treat Sweetie, June 2012 Let's Catch Up; Dye Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

This one was probably the most fun to make.  I took the bowl from the Let's Catch up set and made them balloons.  I took the line and hook and used them for the string on one of the balloons.   For the sentiment I put the exclamation point from the same collection and put it to use.

Where and How Much:
Product: Clear Stamps
Manufacturer:  Avocado Arts
MSRP: $20.00 for non club members and $16.99 for Stamp Club Members
Available Online:  Avocado Arts

Bottom Line:
Love these stamps.  They are a great deal for the money.  There are at least 20 stamps in each set.  The crisp, clean image and high quality are just some of the reasons to buy them if you are in the market for new stamps.

What do you think?  So what are your thoughts about these stamps?   Are they some that you want added to your collection or are you not an avocado fan?  Leave a comment by midnight EST on Saturday to be entered to win some!  U.S. residents only and please leave a way to contact you if you win.

Cute stamps! Like every set, there are a couple stamps I really want and a couple I have no idea if I'd ever use them, but the unknown ones always come in handy at some point.
