Carta Bella is a new paper product company for the crafting and srapbooking industries, it's a sister-company to Echo Park Paper. All of their papers are textured. They were at CHA Summer in Chicago this year and one of their new releases was this line - All Hallow's Eve. It's a grungy, spooky, grown-up Halloween line in a muted color palette.
I'm going to preface this whole review by saying I'm not a fan of Halloween, especially the spooky aspect so I wasn't really looking forward to working with this product. That said, I was pretty happy with what I ended up with.
What I liked:
The papers were good quality, heavy textured card stock, and were double sided.I liked the variety of sticker shapes - there were lots of different options to work with.
What I didn't like:
This is personal preference but I'm not a fan of the creepy Halloween imagery, skeletons etc but I can see how it would appeal to people scrapping teens or adults.I found the color palette a little too muted for my taste, again just a personal preference.
What I made:
In my layout I used the patterned papers, element stickers and alphabet stickers.
Next I created some spooky poison decor using some stickers and empty bottles - that was pretty fun!
Finally I made a patchwork spiderweb using all the different papers - I cut out the spiderweb using my Silhouette machine.
Where and how much:
Product: All Hallow's Eve CollectionManufacturer: Carta Bella

Awesome projects! I actually love the muted colors in this line, would love to win some.
Love the vintage feel! Your bottles are so fun!
It's actually a very nice change from garish oranges and poison green, really like this!
love your spooky poison bottles! great decorations.
Maybe a pop of color would be nice but I think the muted colors will mix well with some of my older stash to give them an updated look! Thanks for the chance.
I love the muted colors in this and your bottles came out so great!

I love to scrap Halloween. I never want to forget how cute my kids have looked in their costumes throughout the years. I like how muted the line is because it's different.
I really love the images and color scheme. Such a cool line.
I'm not a spooky type person either but there are some awesome papers and labels in the collection.
