Lawn Fawn: Dewey Decimal

{Reported by: Shelley Haganman}

I had so much fun with this review. I have never stamped or owned anything by Lawn Fawn and boy was I happy I got this assignment! Lawn Fawn is a small company based out of Southern California. They are mainly know for their clear polymer stamps. However, in 2012 they released their first paper line as well as stickers and twine. Lawn Fawn products can be seen on their main site, their Facebook page, as well as their blog!

What I liked: Well simply put....EVERYTHING! Seriously their paper line Dewey Decimal is so cute and I love the color combinations! I love the thickness of their papers as well AND my favorite part...they are double sided! Yep, gotta love that! But what I REALLY fell in love with were their stamps. I have heard good things about Lawn Fawn's stamps but had just never gotten around to getting some of my own. Well, let me tell you I think they are probably the BEST clear stamps I have ever used! And I have tried a lot of them! I don't stamp that much but when I do I want  BOLD, crisp image and you get that with these stamps. Even more, I loved the designs (hexagons, arrows, what more could a girl ask for?)

What I didn't like: Nothing. Some of the patterns were not my taste but that's just a personal thing.

What I made:

I used Lawn Fawn's amazing stamps for this layout as well as papers from the Dewey Decimal pack. I just filled in the spaces of the stamp with matching colored pencils! I also stamped on white paper and then punched out my shapes. I used the twine to hand stitch around the edge of my layout.

Altered photo holder turned into stamp holder:

I altered this photo holder into my Lawn Fawn stamps holder! Again using Dewey Decimal papers and the top of the card that my stamps came in to remind me who the stamps were designed by.

Where and how much?
Product: Dewey Decimal Collection
Manufacturer:  Lawn Fawn
Available Online: Lawn Fawn Shop $15-20.50Two Peas $15-20.50Scrapbook.com $14.99-20.49

Bottom Line: I love everything about this line! Not only are the papers thick and have amazing graphics and designs but their stamps have got to be the best on the market. Hands down! If you are looking for high performing acrylic stamps Lawn Fawn is your company....the paper, stickers, and twine are a bonus!

What do you think? Have you tried Lawn Fawn stamps and paper lines?  Leave a comment by midnight EST on Wednesday and you will be entered to win a Dewey Decimal 6x6 pad and a Check This Out  stamp set!!  U.S. residents only and please leave a way to contact you if you win!!

Oh my gosh, I was SUPER excited to see that you were reviewing this collection! I had seen a video about this line somewhere and have been in love with it ever since. First of all, I am a HUGE book and library fan, so the whole idea appeals to me on that level. Secondly, I have heard great things about Lawn Fawn and have always wanted to try their products. This paper and those stamps look amazing. I thought the idea of altering a photo holder for your stamps was genius. I am always looking for more storage for my stamps and I never thought to do that, you know I will be copying your idea!

I would LOVE to win this prize, thank you very much for the chance to enter.

I LOVE Lawn Fawn stamps so much! I first found them a year ago when I was searching the seas of google for a nice Hanukkah stamp set. I purchased it and was in love with the quality--so I started buying more, and getting involved with their blog, facebook, and flikr group. I'm totally obsessed now. I've never tried the paper, but I think I will soon!
