Studio Calico Wonderland

{Reported by Paula Gilarde}

My Christmas pick from last Summer's CHA was Studio Calico's Wonderland. I loved the bright colors, the graphic patters and the cool mix of elements including wood grain and mistable embellishments.

Of course in addition to 12 double-sided 12x12 papers they have a 6x6 paper pad.

A sticker sheet with two alphas and various embellishments:

An entire line of alphabet thickers in various colors, including a mist-able version:

Mists too, naturally!

There are lots of fun and different embellishments - here are some of my favorites:

As you can imagine, I was excited to get to work with this extensive collection!

What I liked:
1. The bright graphic patterns - I love that they are Christmassy but not overly so making them usable outside of the season.
2. Love the idea of mist-able products and that they can be used as-is.
3. The Polaroid frames are a fun addition - quite a unique product.

What I didn't like:
1. The journaling cards are made of a heavy stock - with a photo-like finish. I didn't really care for them, although I did like the designs.

What I made:
Supplies: Studio Calico Wonderland patterned papers, stickers, ephemera pack, badges and journaling cards. Bazzill cardstock.
Suppliers: Studio Calico Wonderland patterned papers, mistable thickers, polariod frames, ephemera pack, wooden snowflakes and journaling cards. Digital frame by Katie Pertiet
Suppliers: Studio Calico Wonderland patterned papers, mistable thickers, mists, ephemera pack, wooden snowflakes and journaling cards
Where and How Much:

What's not to love about a Christmas collection.

But I do agree with you---I don't think I would like the photo finish journal cards??

I especially like the wooden pieces, and the tin pins. The papers look very versatile. I like all of it.

Love how you could make this very cutesy or quite sophisticated! I love collections with that variety in them, especially holiday ones.

I completely agree with you about the journaling cards. I love the collection as a whole but those cards are a bit tacky in real life.
