Chic Tags Birthday Cake

{Reported by Ashley Harris}

Chic Tags made their CHA Debut this winter at the Anaheim show.  Included in their release was the Birthday Cake collection.  I have the pleasure of reviewing them today.  So let's get started!

What I liked:
The colors.  So many colors that you can pretty much go with any base cardstock color.
Love the die cut tags.  So many uses.  Not just for scrapbooks, they are an easy card use too.
They are not glossy.  Many die cuts are glossy and I hate that because it limits the ink I can use when stamping on them.  Not these.  LOVE THAT!!

What I didn't like:
I know this may be pushing it, but I didn't like the snip'ems.  Only reason I have is that I hate cutting things out because it is inevitable, I will screw it up.  So it is only user error that I don't like them.

What I made:

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Pearls: Doodlebug; Ribbon: American Crafts; Adhesive: E-Z Mini Dots Permanent, 3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L;  Clear Stamps: Technique Tuesday; All other products: Chic Tags Birthday Cake Collection

Bottom Line:   I really enjoyed playing and creating with this line.  So fun and cheerful.  Perfect for any birthday!

What do you think? Is this a collection you would see yourself using?  Let us know!

I like the muted tones. And I don't think I'd have a problem with the snippems because I'd use my paper cutter to line them up. But who knows....they look cute.
