Stamping Week: Watercolor Crayons and a giveaway!

Hello!  Today a super quick and simple video how to use watercolor crayons to color in stamped images.  Be sure when you are using this technique, to stamp the image in a solvent ink on watercolor paper to help the ink from bleeding but also to help the watercolor blend.

What I made:

Supplies:  Waterbrush: Tim Holtz Detailer brush Ranger; Watercolor Paper: Simon Says Stamp!; Watercolor Crayons: Technique Tuesday; Ribbon:  Offray;  Liquid Pearls; Jewels:  Doodlebug Design; Clear Stamps:  Simon Says Stamp Best Mom Ever; Dye Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Solvent Ink:  StazOn Jet Black;  Adhesive:  E-Z Dots Mini Permanent, 3D Foam Squares, 3D Thin Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

What do you think?  Is watercoloring on your list to try?  Are you comfortable with this technique?  Today leave a comment and be entered to win a super fun stamping prize!  You won't want to miss it!! US Residents only!  You have until midnight PST today to be entered!

What a pretty card! I have a blending style water pen, but have been wanting to try an actual water pen, and I'm so intrigued by the watercolor crayons too....I only have pencils.

I have watercolor pencils and crayons and absolutely love them. I have a set of blender pens but always forget about them- my water brush pen is always at hand though.

I've used this technique many times but left it behind in favour of Copics. But it's so quick and easy I've recently returned to watercoloring. Rebeccacell@gmail.com
