Happy Monday all! Today I get to review the stamps, ink, dies and cardstock of My Favorite Things. I've been wanting to do this article for a while. I have always been intrigued by companies who have their own cardstock, stamps, dies and ink mainly because I wondered at the quality. I have been a Bazzill girl for a long long time. I make no bones about it, I hate the American Crafts cardstock. It's always been way too flimsy and tears easily. So let's see what My Favorite Things brings to the table shall we?
Cardstock:
I have to say I am in love with this cardstock! It has a perfect weight for card making. When I score it with my scoreboard, it doesn't tear and it folds beautifully. This to me is a deal breaker. The variety of colors are great.
Stamps:
Now if you have been reading this site for a long time, then you know how I feel about stamps. They have to be of good quality or I will not use them. I won't. I am a stamp snob. That being said, these stamps pass the smell and durability tests. They are fantastic to work with and overall stamp wonderfully!
Inks:
Inks are fun to work with. I love all different inks. When I heard My Favorite Things came out with their own dye inks, I was super pumped to try them. From the first stamp, I was won over. They are juicy and have great coverage! SOLD!
Dies:
There are so many different dies out on the market right now. I have plenty let me tell you. There are some pretty cheap ones out there that bend easily and are a pain to work with. These are not those dies! These are good quality dies that will last you a long time if you treat them well like any other tool you want to last.
What I made:
Supplies: Enamel dots and shapes: Doodlebug; Adhesive: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L; All other supplies: My Favorite Things
Bottom Line: My Favorite Things have a complete line of great products! I would not hesitate to make a purchase with them. Go get them! They are truly fabulous!
Where and How Much:
Products: Stamps, Ink, Dies and Cardstock
Manufacturer: My Favorite Things
MSRP: $9.00-24.99
