Mini Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers | American Crafts
Hi everyone!
I'm here to share with you about the Mini Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers.
I'm a tool girl when it comes to paper crafting and I couldn't resist picking this one up at my local craft store when it came in. At the low price point of $15 (less with a coupon), it had to come live with me so I could give it a spin. This tool is designed for making envelopes. Specifically, it's so you can make small envelopes for trinkets, gift cards and small cards. At 6 1/2" x 3 1/2", it's small enough too that you can chuck it into a crop bag and take it with you for some "on the go" crafting time. It also don't take up a lot of room in your craft room!

Here's how it works. Start by looking at the dimension chart along the tool. Pick the size of envelope you want to make. Cut your paper appropriately.

Tuck the paper into the knob looking thing and score. (Be sure to check the dimension chart first to see where to line the paper up to the scoring tool's ruler.)
Turn the paper and repeat this step three times.
Then you are going to punch notches four times in your paper like so. (Again, this involves the rotation of the paper as you go.)
You'll end up with something like this.

Fold up your paper along the score lines. Add a little adhesive so you have an envelope!

It's pretty easy to create envelopes with this tool! Just make sure you read the instructions that come with the tool and follow the dimension chart every time you make an envelope.

What I liked:

* The small, portable size of this tool.
* You can make a variety of mini envelopes.
* Easy to understand.
* Affordable crafting tool! (Also if you haven't tried any of the punch tools from We R Memory Keepers, this is a great tool to try because of the price. It can help you see if you are interested in trying more tools from that line of punch board products.)

What I disliked:
* You do have to remember to lift the tool every so often, if you are making a bunch of envelopes. Those punch pieces stack up so you need to lift the tool and sweep them away. Truly, this is a really minor thing though.
