I'm looking at these but I have a big hesitation:

How easily available is letterpress cardstock/ink? I'm really nervous about a product that is used with limited consumables... I want to know that in 5 years time if quickutz stop selling these that I will still be able to get the necessary consumables

Thanks for the review, I saw these in the cha chatter and really liked the look of them and this has answered most of my questions!

Just an F.Y.I. to anyone interested in buying one of these... I purchased mine last week at A.C. Moore and used my 50% off a regularly priced item coupon so it only cost me $35. :o)

And amen on the cleaning clothes. I tried cleaning my tools without them and it just didn't happen, no matter what kind of soap I used, NOTHING would work.

Gorgeous projects! I so want one of these! :)

Oh my gosh - thanks so much for the information and the awesome pictures of your projects!!! They are amazing! I have seen this product on all the sites I stalk for the latest in supplies, and I just couldn't imagine what I would do with it. NOW I get the picture - loving that plain debossed look - just makes my mouth water!

I'm relieved to see that you had the same difficult start and same issues as I did- I thought maybe I was just being particularly dim. (The other problems I have is that I can't seem to get those placement spongy rectangles OFF the big, flat letterpress tool, and I can't get the adhesive to stay ON the letterpress plate/shapes!)

THANK YOU for doing a review on this. I've been intrigued ever since it's release but you are the first place that I've been able to even catch a glimse at what it can do. More tutitorials would be GREAT-I can't justify spending that kind of money on something that sounds like I'd have great fun using but no one or no where to be able to find the help I would need with it! Thank you!;-)

I have not seen this in action in person but have seen videos from CHA. Thought the results were beautiful. Was debating it mainly because I was hoping that it worked with the die cut machines I already have. Glad to hear that it does work with the cuttlebug and big shot. Reading this review I'll be waiting till the price drops dramatically. Don't want to spend $70 for something that requires alot of practice to make it work.

I am much more interested now that I know the letterpress will work in my Cuttlebug. I simply don't have room for another die cutting machine (nor do I need one.) A video tutorial would be great. I have seen a couple very short ones, but I'd like to see on being used by a "regular" customer, not a salesperson. Thanks for all the details. I'm sure I'll own one someday and it's good to know about the learning curve.

I saw this demo'd, it produces beautiful results. The debossing is gorgeous. I love your projects Susan. I think a video would be great for those on the fence or are interested in knowing more about it. They'll be hooked in no time. A great, great tool!

I would love a Letterpress however there are a few other tools that are a bit more of a priority for me. It's good to know that it works well with other tools. Nice when you can do that.

I am still on the fence about this tool. The projects that you have produced are STUNNING!and that is what may sway me to ask Santa for this (I know he still accepts letters up until the 23rd!)
